Mary Rozella Toschlog

   Another name for Mary was Rosella.

  General Notes:

Rosella or "Auntie" as most of you knew her by, was the 6th child of Joseph and Kate. She never married. All her life was spent in Richmond, IN with the exception of when she studied music in Cincinnati. She taught piano lessons. My dad always said she was the chin-up champion! Death came at age 84, 11-29-1980. Funeral Mass was said at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's.
She changed the spelling of her name to Rosella when she grew older, and she gave us the early history on Bernard and Margaret Bussen Toschlag. I am very grateful for this information, I only wished I had the foresight to ask her family history questions while she was living. I think everyone of my close cousins took piano lessons from this special lady. She enjoyed reunions and is said to have started up the 1st Toschlog reunion in Wayne County, Indiana.
