**Palladium Friday, 1-17-1941 - Edward J. Gausepohl, 76 yrs. old, a resident of Wayne Co., the greatest part of his life, died at 9:30 A.M., Friday at his home 5 miles N.W. of Richmond. Death followed an illness of one year. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Gausepohl, and was a native of Covington, KY. For the past 24 years he has operated the farm where he died and was well known not only in the rural community but in the city where he worked as a carpenter. He was a member of St. Andrew's Church. Survived by a wife Anna M., two sons Bernard J. and John H. Gausepohl; one daughter Mrs. Roi King and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 A.M. at the St. Andrew's Church with the Rev. Mgr. Roell officiating. Burial will be at the St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Unser & Walterman Funeral home after Saturday. Mr. and MRs. Gausepohl observed their golden wedding anniversary on May 1, 1940.
