Andrew Gaiser

  General Notes:

Mr. Andrew Gaiser who was a farmer in Wayne Co. resided near the village of Centerville, IN, is a scion of sterling German families.
He was educated in schools of his native land and pursuited in agriculture until 1873, when he came to America. Andrew took up residence in Wayne Co., worked as a farm hand until 1877, and rented farms in Center Twp. He was a strong supporter of the Democratic Party, member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church.

Andrew married Eupehmia Helena "Lena" Toschlag, daughter of Bernard Bennett Toschlag and Margaret Adaleida Bussen, on 13 Feb 1877. (Eupehmia Helena "Lena" Toschlag was born in 1848 in Wayne County, IN, died on 17 Oct 1903 and was buried in St. Andrew's Cemetary, Richmond, IN.)
