Bernard Mathias Toschlog, 73 yr. old Wayne Co., farmer, died early Saturday morning at his home on Indiana 38, three mile N.W. of Richmond. He was born in Wayne twp., Aug. 11, 1864, the son of Bernard Toschlog, early farmers of this vicinity. Mr. Toschlag had been ill for several years and had been confined to his bed since last Jan. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
Survivors are his widow Mrs. Anna Toschlag; two sons, Carl and Lawrence; four daughters Mrs. William Flatley, Mrs. Frank Mitchell, Mrs. Frank Kilgus, Mrs. Frank Weiss all of Wayne Co., a brother Henry Toschlog of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Gausepohl, Wayne Co., and Mrs. Catherine Brokamp, Eaton, Ohio and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 o'clock, Tuesday at St. Andrew's Church with Rev. Msgr. Roell officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Friends may call at the home anytime.
